Your tour begins with a pickup in Ouarzazate. First, visit the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famed film location. Continue to the Skoura Oasis to explore the historic Kasbah Amridil. Drive along the scenic “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs” and through the fragrant Valley of Roses before arriving at the dramatic rock formations of the Dades Valley. Your day ends in Todra Gorge, where you’ll spend the night with the gorge’s towering cliffs as your backdrop.

After breakfast, explore the stunning Todra Gorge on foot, walking between its sheer 300-meter-high limestone walls. Then, journey east toward the Sahara, passing through the vast palm oasis of the Ziz Valley. Stop in Erfoud to visit fossil workshops and the historic trading town of Rissani. Arrive at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Here, a camel trek will carry you into the dunes for a breathtaking sunset. Spend the night at a comfortable desert camp with a traditional dinner and Berber music.

Wake at leisure to the peaceful desert morning. After breakfast at the camp, enjoy a full day of immersive experiences. Visit Khamlia village for a soulful performance of spiritual Gnawa music. The afternoon is yours to relax at the camp, try sandboarding on the golden slopes, or simply absorb the vast, tranquil beauty of the Sahara.

Rise early for a spectacular desert sunrise. After breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga village. Begin your return journey, stopping at Rissani’s lively traditional market. Then, travel along one of Morocco’s most beautiful routes—the Draa Valley—a stunning ribbon of palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop for lunch before crossing the Anti-Atlas Mountains. You’ll arrive back in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, where your tour concludes.
