Welcome to the gateway of the Sahara. Upon your arrival at Errachidia Moulay Ali Cherif Airport, your driver will meet you. Enjoy a direct transfer through dramatic, arid landscapes to the desert town of Merzouga. Check into your hotel with the rest of the day free to relax and soak in your first views of the golden Erg Chebbi dunes on the horizon.

After breakfast, embark on a full 4×4 desert safari. Explore the Hassi Labied oasis, see the seasonal Sriji Lake (a haven for birdlife), and visit Khamlia village for a powerful performance of spiritual Gnawa music. Discover the M’fis mines and enjoy the hospitality of a nomadic Berber family over mint tea in their tent. Return to Merzouga for lunch. In the late afternoon, begin a scenic camel trek into the heart of the dunes. Pause for a breathtaking sunset and try sandboarding before arriving at your traditional desert camp. The evening features a hearty dinner and Berber music under a canopy of stars.

Wake early for a spectacular desert sunrise. After breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga village by camel or 4WD. Depart for Rissani to explore its lively traditional market (most vibrant on Sundays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays). Continue to Erfoud to visit its famous fossil workshops. Your journey concludes with a scenic drive back through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, passing its dramatic gorges and endless palm groves. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport in Errachidia by late afternoon.
