From your arrival in Errachidia, you’ll spend a day exploring desert culture before a magical night under the stars, then journey north through lush oases and cedar forests to reach the imperial city of Fes.
Your desert tour begins upon arrival at Errachidia Moulay Ali Cherif Airport, where your driver will greet you. Enjoy a direct transfer through dramatic, arid landscapes to the desert town of Merzouga. Check into your hotel with the rest of the evening free to relax and anticipate the adventures ahead.

After breakfast, embark on a full 4×4 desert safari. Explore the Hassi Labied oasis and the seasonal Sriji Lake. Visit Khamlia village for a spiritual Gnawa music performance and discover the M’fis mines. Experience genuine hospitality with a nomadic Berber family, sharing mint tea in their traditional tent. Return to Merzouga for lunch. In the late afternoon, begin a scenic camel trek into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Pause for a breathtaking sunset and try sandboarding before arriving at your desert camp. The evening features a traditional dinner and Berber music under a starry sky.

Wake early for a spectacular desert sunrise. After breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga village by camel or 4WD. Begin your journey north to Fes. Drive through the vast palm oasis of the Ziz Valley and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in the Azrou Cedar Forest to see troops of Barbary macaques and visit the alpine-style town of Ifrane. Arrive in the imperial city of Fes by late afternoon, where your tour concludes.
